Sure.. always disliked TicketMaster for their excessive service charges and annoying phone service (way too many fries with that scripts that must be read. But that’s the online way to join the Art Institute. Since I joined I’ve gotten a mailing every once in a while with their exciting news (this week it was Subject: Don’t miss Madonna). Since their messages are pretty much unreadable without an html mail program i’ve just ignored them. Figured I would unsubscribe so I wouldn’t get any more. Nice unsubscribe policy….

I want to not receive any more mail from them. If i order something then they can send me a confirmation but that’s it. There’s no reason this shouldn’t be the first option in the email. To assume that I want their email is just more of their arrogance. I don’t want to have a relationship with them. I just want to buy a membership to the art institute. Sure, give me an option to get mailings, become a tickmaster customer, etc. But that should be my choice.

Nothing really changes as I already avoid them where possible (even going to the double door basement office to get advance show tickets) but annoying all the same.
